Melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler method, being careful not to let water contact the chocolate.

Add one spoonful of melted chocolate to the cooled almonds and mix well. Freeze for about a minute until set. Repeat the process of adding chocolate, mixing, and freezing multiple times until the almonds are coated with a thick layer of chocolate.
