Classic Meatloaf with Roasted Potatoes

   Remove the crust from the bread (set aside to blend into breadcrumbs later), and cut the inner part into small cubes.

   Soak the bread cubes in milk, pressing them down slightly to help absorb the liquid, then set aside.

   In a large bowl, combine the ground meat and skinned sausage, then add the grated cheese and eggs.

   Squeeze out the soaked bread and add it to the bowl, along with a pinch of nutmeg, salt to taste (being careful not to overdo it since the sausage and cheese are already salty), and black pepper.
