Soy sauce1 tsp
Garlic paste½ tsp
Starch1 tbsp
Flour½ tbsp
Ginger paste½ tsp

Chili pepper1
Sugar1 tbsp
Soy sauce1 tbsp
Oyster sauce2 tsp
Rice vinegar2 tbsp
Honey1 tsp
Lettuce3 slices

Steps

Marinate the chicken thigh with sake, soy sauce, and garlic paste.

Mix flour and starch together. Coat the marinated chicken first with flour, then with starch for extra crispiness.

Deep fry the chicken in hot oil over medium-low heat until both sides are golden brown. Avoid high heat to prevent burning.

Prepare the sauce by combining ginger paste, chopped scallion, minced chili pepper, sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, and honey.

Plate the fried chicken on top of lettuce and pour the prepared sauce over it.

Serve with steamed white rice. Place the chicken on the rice, eat the chicken first, then enjoy the rice soaked in sauce.
