Pick out any broken or discolored soybeans, then rinse two cups of soybeans thoroughly, discarding the cloudy water.
2
Cover the beans with plenty of water and soak for 10–12 hours until they swell noticeably and soften.
3
Drain the soaked beans, add water, and boil uncovered over medium-high heat for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent boiling over and sticking.
4
Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for another 5 minutes until the beans are fully cooked but still slightly nutty and firm.
5
Turn off the heat, drain the cooked beans, let them cool, and portion into ziploc bags to freeze for later use if desired.
6
Take about half a cup of the cooked (or frozen) soybeans, add one cup of cold water plus an extra half cup of cold water, then add one teaspoon of toasted sesame seeds and a quarter teaspoon of salt.
7
Blend everything together until smooth and creamy, then pour and enjoy your homemade soy milk right away.
