Combine softened butter, chestnut cream, sugar, and salt, mixing until smooth and well blended.

Gradually add room temperature eggs while scraping down the bowl sides frequently to ensure thorough incorporation.

Sift in the all-purpose flour, chestnut flour, and baking powder, then fold gently to combine.

Fold in the rinsed candied chestnuts, cooked chestnuts, and candied orange peel until evenly distributed.

Transfer the batter to a prepared cake pan, which can be greased with butter and flour, butter and cooking spray, or lined with parchment paper.

Once baked, allow the cake to cool, then lightly brush with whiskey or rum-infused simple syrup.
