Ingredients
Taro (Arbi)
boiled, peeled and sliced
~500 g

Salt
~1 tsp
est.
Rice powder
used to make it crispy
~3 tbsp
est.
Cooking oil
for frying
~2-3 tbsp
est.
Curry leaves
~8-10
est.
Chopped coriander leaves
~2 tbsp
est.
Green chili
chopped
~1-2
est.
Coriander powder
~½ tsp
est.
Cumin powder
~½ tsp
est.
Chaat masala powder
~½ tsp
est.
Red chili powder
~¼ tsp
est.
Coriander-mint chutney
adds tangy flavor
~½ cup

Steps

Slice the boiled taro (arbi) and place it in a bowl, then season with a bit of salt.

Sprinkle rice powder over the taro slices and coat them evenly to help achieve a crispy texture when cooked.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the coated taro slices until golden.

Add curry leaves, chopped coriander, and green chilies, stirring to infuse the flavors.

Season with coriander powder, cumin powder, chaat masala, and red chili powder.

Add a pinch more salt to balance the flavors, then mix everything well until fully combined.

Serve hot with coriander-mint chutney for a crispy and tangy snack.
