1
Pour half a package of Tang drink powder (or your choice of fruit drink mix) into a large bowl, add water, and stir well until fully dissolved.
2
Add cranberry juice, pineapple juice, tropical punch, and guava juice in sequence, adjusting amounts to your preference. Pineapple juice is the key ingredient for flavor.
3
Add strawberry syrup for color and sweetness, adjusting the amount to your preference. If you prefer less sweetness, reduce this ingredient and dilute with water instead.
4
Pour in lemon-lime soda to add fizz to the punch.
5
Squeeze the juice from 2 fresh limes, extracting as much juice as possible. Add more limes if you prefer a more tart taste.
6
Squeeze the juice from 1 fresh lemon and add to the mixture.
7
Squeeze juice from 2 fresh oranges. You can also use boxed orange juice as an alternative.
8
Add canned pineapple tidbits (including juice) to enhance flavor.
9
Add rum to taste, adjusting for your alcohol tolerance. Traditional rum punch should have a prominent rum flavor. Remember: if you drink, don't drive. Drink responsibly.
10
Fill a glass with ice.
11
Pour the prepared punch into the glass over ice. Garnish with lemon or pineapple slices if desired.
12
Optional: Add a few dashes of Angostura bitters for added depth and digestive benefits.
13
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Enjoy your delicious Jamaican rum punch!
