   Carefully peel the bananas and slice them in half lengthwise. Choose semi-ripe bananas that are sweet yet firm enough to hold their shape during cooking.

   Add plant-based butter and maple syrup to a large non-stick pan over medium heat. Once the butter begins to bubble, carefully place the banana halves flat-side down. Baste with the pan juices and cook for a few minutes until most of the sauce has reduced.
