Matcha French Toast

   Warm the milk over low heat, add the matcha powder, and stir continuously until fully dissolved for a rich, aromatic green color.

   Just before the milk boils, remove from heat and whisk in the sugar and beaten egg to make the matcha custard mixture.

   Cut the bread in half (thicker slices give a fluffier texture), then soak it in the matcha custard, flipping occasionally so it fully absorbs the liquid.

   Melt the butter in a pan over low heat, then place the soaked bread in and fry until golden brown on the bottom.

   Flip the toast, cover the pan, and cook over very low heat for about 2 minutes more until both sides are golden and the inside is soft and fluffy.
