Salt

Pour oil into a pan and heat it over the stove.

Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and ground black pepper.

Once the pan is hot, sear the pork chops on both sides until well browned and fully cooked through, since pork needs to be thoroughly done.

While the chops cook, chop the tomatoes, jalapeños, serrano pepper, and onion; adjust the amount of chili to your own taste.

Once the pork chops are nicely browned on both sides, remove them from the pan and set aside.

Using the same pan, add the chopped tomatoes and a bit of salt, and fry until they release their juices.

Once the tomatoes have released their juice, add the chopped nopales and stir everything together.

Return the seared pork chops to the pan and mix them with the tomato and nopales mixture so everything blends together.
