   Gather 38 Oreo cookies of any variety you prefer. Place them on a cutting board and crush them with a rolling pin until they resemble coarse crumbs with some larger pieces remaining for texture.

   Place softened cream cheese into a large bowl. You may warm it slightly in the microwave if needed. Mix gently to begin combining it with the cookie crumbs.

   Remove balls from the refrigerator in batches to keep them firm. Optionally, give them a final gentle roll before dipping. Dip each ball into the melted wafers, tap off excess coating, and place back on the baking sheet using a fork.
