   Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F or gas mark 6). Prepare a 12-cup standard muffin tray.

   Add the beef dripping (or alternative fat) to each cup of the muffin tray and place it in the hot oven to heat.

   Crack 4 eggs into a medium-sized mixing bowl. Add salt and whisk thoroughly for about 2 minutes to incorporate plenty of air.
