   Combine soy sauce, red wine, mirin, and sugar in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.

   Pour the finished teriyaki sauce into a bottle and set aside.

   Slice the garlic. Heat oil in a pan and fry the garlic chips until fragrant.
