   Prepare all ingredients: mince or finely chop 3 cloves of garlic, dice half a red onion, slice the tomato, dice the carrot, and cut each sausage into about 9–10 pieces.

   Boil a large pot of salted water, covered, until it reaches a rolling boil quickly. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package directions until al dente (not too soft). Drain the pasta, drizzle with a little oil, and toss to prevent sticking. Reserve some pasta cooking water.

   Heat the butter and cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the sausage pieces until the edges are slightly crispy, then remove and set aside.

   In the same pan, sauté the diced red onion until softened, then add the garlic and cook until lightly golden.
