   Combine the warm milk with melted butter, vanilla extract, honey, and eggs. Whisk together until the eggs are fully incorporated.

   Add the flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and yeast to the mixing bowl. Mix on low speed for about 3 minutes.

   Add the wet ingredients and increase the mixer speed to medium. Continue mixing for about 7 to 8 minutes until the dough is fully formed.

   Remove the dough from the mixing bowl and shape it into a ball. Place it in a greased bowl, oil the top, and cover with plastic wrap and a kitchen towel. Let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size.

   Prepare the topping by mixing flour and powdered sugar together. Add the vanilla extract and butter flavored shortening, then crumble the mixture until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs.

   Once the dough has doubled, divide it into 16 equal portions of about 60g each. For each piece, fold the edges toward the center and shape into a smooth ball.

   Take a small portion of the topping mixture and shape into a ball. Place it between two pieces of plastic and flatten it. Center it over a dough ball and use a concha cutter to press the shell pattern onto the surface.

   Place each finished concha into a cupcake liner in a muffin pan. Keep them covered and allow to rise until doubled in size while preheating your oven to 350°F.
