Cut the pork into pieces and start browning it in a pot; let it cook slowly to develop color, which takes some time.

Prepare the salsa ingredients: tomatoes, serrano peppers, a small chili, a quarter tomato, garlic, and onion.

Prepare the rice and onion for the morisqueta (rice dish).

Add the washed rice and onion to a pot, season with salt, and add water to cook the rice.

Once the pork starts to brown, add a bit of lard to help it turn golden and flavorful.

While the pork continues browning, blend the salsa ingredients in two batches since they won't fit at once.
