Combine ground beef and ground pork in a bowl, seasoning with soy sauce, black pepper, onion, garlic powder, and salt.

Add fresh milk (or powdered milk as an option) and bread crumbs to act as a binder. Optionally add egg, ensuring the mixture is well combined.

Scoop out about 2 spoonfuls of the mixture, shape into a ball, then flatten into a patty. Repeat until all mixture is used.

Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the patties about 3 minutes per side until cooked through, adjusting time based on thickness. Set cooked patties aside.
