An easy, budget-friendly, and nutritious Filipino creamy macaroni soup. This recipe uses Knorr Cream of Mushroom Soup instead of milk or cream to create a rich, creamy texture, combined with chicken, ham, corn, and vegetables.

Mince the onion. You can use yellow, white, or red onions according to your preference.

Crush about 3-4 cloves of garlic, then chop them into smaller pieces.

Peel the carrots and dice them, or simply wash and brush them thoroughly if you prefer to keep the skin on.

Prepare the canned whole kernel sweet corn.

Cut the boneless chicken breast into small pieces, trimming any excess fat if desired.

Slice the ham into squares according to your preferred size.

Melt the butter on low heat. If you prefer to use high heat, add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil along with the butter to prevent burning. Wait for the butter bubbles to disappear before adding the garlic.

Add the onion and continue frying until it becomes soft.

Add the diced chicken and continue frying until the outer part becomes light brown.

Add the ham and continue frying for 2 more minutes. If ham is not available, you can use luncheon meat instead.

Pour in the water and cover the pot with a lid to help it boil faster.

Once the water boils, add 1 Knorr Chicken Cube to enhance the flavor.

Add the elbow macaroni and mix well. Cover and cook for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally every 2 minutes to prevent clumping and ensure even cooking.

Add the Knorr Cream of Mushroom Soup and mix well. This will gradually thicken and create the creamy texture without needing milk or cream.

Add the carrots and corn. Feel free to include other vegetables such as cabbage, celery, or potatoes.

Cover the pot and continue cooking on low to medium heat for another 7-8 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
