1
Pour 3 cups of milk into a pan, add sugar and corn flour, and whisk well until the corn flour fully dissolves with no lumps and the mixture is smooth.
2
Place the pan over low heat and cook while continuously stirring, allowing the milk to gradually thicken.
3
It's essential to keep stirring continuously at this stage, or the mixture will stick to the bottom and form lumps. Keep cooking until it becomes silky smooth and custard-like in thickness.
4
When the mixture starts to evenly coat the spatula, it's ready to set. Be careful not to overcook it (which makes the jelly hard) or undercook it (which leaves it sticky and improperly set).
5
Transfer the cooked mixture into a tray and tap it gently to level the surface evenly.
6
Refrigerate the tray for about 2 hours until the milk jelly is fully set.
7
Carefully remove the milk jelly from the tray and cut it into your preferred shapes and sizes. You can flavor and color it with vanilla, rose, mango or any preferred flavoring.
8
Gently roll the pieces of milk jelly in milk powder. Your soft, creamy and jiggly milk jelly is now ready to serve.
