   In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt, and baking powder.

   Add vanilla essence to the water and stir. Pour the vanilla-flavored water into the dry ingredients, then add the pinch of cinnamon powder. Mix the vanilla Lasco into the mixture as well.

   Knead the mixture until the dough comes together, about 3 minutes, until smooth and slightly sticky. Avoid over-kneading.

   Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes to 1 hour. This allows the ingredients to dissolve and the gluten to relax, resulting in softer, fluffier festivals.

   After resting, pinch off small pieces of dough and roll them between your palms into oblong shapes. If the dough is sticky, dust your hands lightly with flour.

   Heat cooking oil in a pot over medium heat, making sure it is not too hot. Carefully add the dumplings and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
