Crack one egg into a bowl and beat it well.

Mix flour, oil, and beaten egg together to make a batter. Combine 1 tbsp flour, 1 tbsp oil, and 1.5 tbsp beaten egg, then add an additional half tablespoon of egg and mix until smooth.

Season both sides of the 100g pork loin with a dash of salt and pepper, then dust both sides evenly with 1 tsp flour.

Dip the floured pork into the batter, coating both sides thoroughly.

Remove the pork from the batter and coat both sides generously with panko breadcrumbs.

Place the breaded pork into the air fryer basket.

Brush or spray both sides of the pork generously with cooking oil.

Cook in the air fryer at 200°C for 7 minutes. After 7 minutes, flip the pork and cook for another 7 minutes at the same temperature until golden and crispy.

Remove the cooked tonkatsu from the air fryer and cut it into bite-sized pieces.

Make the miso sauce by mixing 1 tbsp miso paste, 1 tbsp tonkatsu sauce, and 1–2 tsp honey until well combined.

Place 200g of cooked rice in a serving bowl.

Arrange the cut tonkatsu pieces on top of the rice.

Pour the prepared miso sauce over the tonkatsu and rice.
