A refreshing and easy coleslaw made by simply mixing fresh vegetables with a creamy dressing. The crisp spring cabbage pairs beautifully with the mayonnaise-based sauce.

Prepare the cabbage: remove the core, roll up the leaves for easier cutting, then slice them thinly along the grain of the core. This helps the dressing blend in better. Slice the core portion into thin pieces.

Prepare the onion and carrot: slice the new onion thinly following its natural lines. Peel the carrot, slice it thinly, then cut into thin matchsticks.

Place all the cut vegetables in a bowl, add salt, and gently toss to coat evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and lightly press the vegetables with your hand. Let sit for 10 minutes.

Make the dressing: in a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, condensed milk, sugar, consommé powder, and vinegar, and mix well.

After 10 minutes, squeeze the vegetables firmly to remove excess liquid. Add the corn kernels, pour the dressing over, and mix everything together thoroughly.

Season to taste with salt and black pepper, and mix until everything is well combined and evenly flavored.
