   Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, fennel seeds, black pepper, cloves, cinnamon, and stone flower. Toast on low heat until fragrant.

   Add small onions, garlic, ginger, and coriander leaves. Mix well, then transfer to a blender and grind into a coarse paste.

   Add coconut and poppy seeds to the blender and grind until smooth. Soak, then drain the cow peas.

   In another pan, heat oil and sauté small onions, garlic, and curry leaves until golden.

   Add tomatoes and sauté until soft. Season with salt, turmeric powder, and add potato pieces. Mix in chilli powder and coriander powder.

   Add the prepared spice paste to the pan. Rinse the blender with water and add to the pan. Mix well.

   Add the drained cow peas and mix well. Transfer to a pressure cooker, cover, and heat on high flame.

   Wait for two whistle signals from the pressure cooker, then turn off heat. Adjust consistency by adding more water if desired for a thinner curry.
