A decadent, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate cake with a moist, fudgy crumb, enhanced with coffee to deepen the chocolate flavor. Layered with a jammy raspberry filling and silky chocolate buttercream, then topped with glossy ganache and fresh raspberries.

Chocolate buttercreamUsed between layers and to coat the cake~1 cup butter, 2/3 cup cocoa powder, 3 cups powdered sugar, 1/4 cup milk, 1 tsp vanilla mixedest.
Chocolate ganacheUsed to top the cake~1 cupest.

Steps

Stir all the cake batter ingredients together, pour into pans, and bake in the oven.

While the cake bakes, cook down fresh raspberries into a thick jammy filling.

Also prepare a silky chocolate buttercream while the cake bakes.

Once the cake layers have cooled, spread a layer of chocolate buttercream over each one.

Pipe a buttercream border around the edge of each layer to create a dam, then fill the center with the raspberry filling.

Stack the layers and coat the entire cake with more chocolate buttercream.

Pour the silky chocolate ganache over the top of the cake and spread it evenly.

Finish by piling fresh raspberries on top of the cake for decoration, then serve and enjoy.
