1
Add 5 quarts of water to a large pot along with 2 tablespoons of salt, 1 onion, 1 lemon, the boil-in-a-bag seasoning, and 1 tablespoon of shrimp and crab boil concentrate. Bring to a boil.
2
Once boiling, add the corn and let it cook for 10 minutes to get a head start.
3
After 10 minutes, add the baby potatoes and cook for about 15 minutes or until tender.
4
Once the potatoes are tender, remove the corn and potatoes from the pot. Reserve 1.5 cups of the broth and set everything aside.
5
In a separate skillet, cook the sausage for about 5 minutes, then remove it.
6
Melt 2 pounds of butter over medium heat and skim off the top layer.
7
Add 3 heads of minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
8
Add all the spices—paprika, lemon pepper, cayenne pepper, Old Bay seasoning, Cajun seasoning, onion powder, and brown sugar—and mix well.
9
Squeeze in the juice from 1 lemon, add the reserved broth, and allow the butter mixture to simmer gently.
10
Add the shrimp and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
11
While the shrimp is cooking, boil the crab legs in a separate pot of water for 4 minutes.
12
Once the shrimp and crab legs are cooked, transfer them along with the sausage to the butter sauce and mix everything together so the corn and potatoes are well coated.
