1
Combine 2 cups of wheat flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 1 teaspoon of baking soda in a bowl. Mix well with a whisk and set aside.
2
In another bowl, add 3/4 cup of sugar (or 1 cup if you prefer it sweeter), 2-3 eggs, and mash them together. Add 1/2 cup of cooled milk and 1/4 cup of neutral-flavored oil.
3
Mix the two preparations together and stir until you have a smooth batter with the right consistency—similar to a standard cake batter.
4
Lightly grease a cake pan with oil on all sides. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
5
Pre-heat the pan on the stove for 10 minutes. Once the bottom is hot, place the cake pan inside, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for 20-30 minutes.
6
Check if the cake is done by inserting a toothpick or knife into the center. If no batter clings to it, the cake is cooked. If the top needs more browning, continue heating.
7
Allow the cake to cool completely. Run a knife around the edges of the cake to loosen it. Cut into desired shapes or small pieces if needed.
