Slice the heirloom tomatoes into bite-sized half-moon wedges. Using three different colored varieties—red, yellow, and green—creates a striking visual presentation, though regular vine tomatoes work just as well. Add the tomato wedges to a mixing bowl.

Thinly slice the red onion, cutting as thin as possible so it flavors the salad without being too pungent. Add to the mixing bowl.

Roughly chop about 4 grams each of fresh basil and fresh cilantro. Add them to the bowl.

Drizzle in 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice. Add a pinch of flaky salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste. Give the salad a gentle toss to combine all ingredients evenly.
