1
Thaw the frozen passion fruit pulp and place it in a pot. Cut the passion fruit to release its aroma, then add 3 cups of water.
2
Add 1 cup of granulated sugar and 2 tablespoons of raw honey to the passion fruit and water mixture.
3
Heat the mixture until small bubbles appear at the edges, then turn off the heat immediately and let it cool naturally for at least 30 minutes.
4
Once cooled, strain the passion fruit syrup through a fine sieve and discard the seeds.
5
Pour 6 cups of cold water and 2 cups of frozen mango chunks into a blender. Using frozen mango and cold water helps chill the drink without needing added ice.
6
Blend the mixture until smooth. You can optionally strain it to remove pulp, but keeping some pulp adds richness and stronger mango flavor.
7
Pour the blended mango puree into a serving pitcher. If desired, strain it through a fine sieve.
8
Add the prepared passion fruit syrup to the mango puree and stir well to combine both flavors. Add lemon or lime juice to taste if desired.
