Sift the ragi flour to remove any lumps, then set aside.

Heat water in a pot until it comes to a boil.

Slowly add the sifted ragi flour to the boiling water, stirring constantly to prevent lumps. Continue stirring until the mixture becomes thick and well combined.

Once the porridge thickens, pour into a bowl and let cool slightly. Add a little water to reach the desired consistency.

In a separate bowl, mix yogurt with a little water to make it pourable.

Finely chop the shallots, green chillies, and coriander leaves.

Pour the yogurt mixture into the warm ragi porridge, add salt to taste, and mix well.
