Add salt to the blended mixture and mix thoroughly.

Add lard, butter, or shortening and incorporate until all ingredients are well combined.

Gradually add the spinach mixture to the flour dough, starting with about half the amount and adjusting as needed for proper consistency.

Turn the dough out onto a counter and knead for about 5 to 8 minutes until soft and smooth, then let it rest.

Shape the dough into a smooth ball and coat all over with lard, butter, or oil to prevent drying.

Let the dough rest for 35 to 45 minutes until soft and ready to shape.

After resting, divide the dough into portions according to desired size—smaller for regular tortillas, larger for wraps.
