Let cool and strain through a fine sieve to separate the oil and solids.

   In a large bowl, mix 1 cup green bean flour with 1 tsp salt. Pour in 2.5 cups light coconut milk and the cooled palm sugar syrup. Whisk vigorously until smooth and lump-free. Strain the batter through a fine sieve into the pot where you made the coconut solids.

   Add 1 pandan leaf to the batter (tie it for easy removal later). Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly and scraping the bottom to prevent burning. Reduce heat when the mixture becomes thick and smooth, continuing for 3–4 minutes total. Avoid overcooking or the cake will become hard.
