Clean the turkey neck by removing excess fat and skin. Use a sharp knife to carefully trim away all unwanted parts, then rinse thoroughly.

Rinse the turkey neck multiple times with white vinegar or lemon juice to ensure it is completely clean.

Bring a large pot of water to boil and add fresh thyme leaves. Once boiling, add the cleaned turkey neck.

Prepare the smoked pork by cutting away meat from the bone; keep the bone in the pot for added flavor.

Add the washed soup mix containing various legumes (peas, barley, rice, and lentils) to the pot.

Add fresh herbs and vegetables in turn: thyme, onion, garlic, whole scotch bonnet peppers, pumpkin, and chayote.

Keep the soup at a rolling boil on high heat for about 1 hour to fully cook the meat.

Add two natural chicken stock cubes and stir to combine.

Peel and cut the red potatoes, sweet potato, and yellow yam into chunks; soak them in cold water to prevent browning.

Add the prepared root vegetables to the soup and reduce heat to medium.

Make dumplings by mixing 1 pound of flour, 4 tablespoons of cornmeal, and a pinch of salt. Gradually add water while kneading into a dough without making it too wet. Let rest for about 6 minutes.

Shape the dough into small balls or spindle shapes and add to the soup.

Stir in noodles, scotch bonnet powder, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, all-purpose seasoning, and seasoning salt. Taste and adjust salt to preference.
